Alex Klein started his career as a journalist for outlets such as The Daily Beast and New York Magazine, covering Occupy Wall Street and financial politics. Alex co-founded Kano Computing to make technology easy to understand and accessible to people of all ages, all over the world. As Kano’s CEO, Alex leads the brand in designing creative computing kits that inspire makers to make their own code and see how easy it can be to understand, play and create with it. Since launching the first computer anyone can make five years ago, Kano cemented its position as a STEM category leader, raised one of Europe’s largest educational hardware financing rounds in 2017 and released its range of coding kits in more than 4,500 retail stores including Best Buy, Target, and Walmart.
