After being inspired by an accident after snagging the cable of his headphones on a door-handle while running through an airport, Scott Jordan and his wife Laura founded SCOTTeVEST in 2000 out of a spare room in their home.

Today, SeV is a $50 million online empire with sales all over the world and with a line of more than 50 different garments including hoodies, trench coats, and even boxer shorts. Each has hidden pockets and other advanced features that make clothing truly functional without sacrificing style.

Scott appeared on the hit ABC show Shark Tank in 2012, receiving an offer of $1 million from sharks Robert Herjavec and Kevin O’Leary for his technology. Scott is also the author of “Pocket Man” as well as his newly released book, “Shark Bites.”

Scott was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Cincinnati. Before founding SCOTTeVEST, Scott practiced corporate law at DLA Piper in Chicago and acted as Vice President and General Counsel at Next50.com, an Internet start-up. He received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University and his B.A. in Business Administration from Ohio State University.
