He is among the first wave of visionaries who anticipated the arrival of the connected home, and he now holds over 15 patents in this domain. Prior to Kolibree, Thomas founded and directed Baracoda, the world leader in Bluetooth RFID, where he held the helm for eight years. He then joined Microsoft France as Innovation Director and member of the executive committee before moving on to Google in the position of Managing Director of the Media and Platforms Group for Southern, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (SEEMEA). Thomas recently founded Aleph1, an accelerator dedicated to communicating objects and big data.

Thomas Serval is a graduate of Ecole Normale Supérieure and holds a Master in Business Law degree and an Engineering degree from the French National School of Economics and Statistics (ENSAE). He earned his Ph.D. in Internet Economics from Harvard University.
