Mimo, a baby tech company, was founded in June 2011 by MIT alumni Thomas Lipoma, Carson Darling, and Dulcie Madden. After years of testing with parents, Mimo launched the Mimo Smart Baby Monitor, the world’s first smart wearable baby monitor. In October 2015, the company launched their second product, the Mimo Movement Monitor, which features a smart crib sheet. Named Engadget’s best “Kid Friendly” product of CES 2014, Mimo is building the world’s first connected nursery through smart products that work together. Based in Boston and proud of its parent-centric design and support, Mimo manufactures its products in New England.
